Perfect for my business needs and is well recommended.

Great reception from the staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I have been staying at Ava Lodge whenever I travel to Wellington on business and have never been disappointed. Easy walking to restaurants in Petone. It is well positioned for Hutt Valley, Petone and Ngauranga business purposes.

Modern, spacious and well appointed. Walking distance to various eateries,, close to the foreshore and not far from motorway entry to Wellington. Quiet too which is also a plus.

Comfy on Cuba

Close to cafes, restaurants and shops in Jackson Street Petone. Our room was fresh and clean with a modern feel. There was an electric blanket on the bed! A lift was available to take luggage up to 1st floor. We made friends with the resident cat.

The whole place, including our room, was very clean. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable, had a little fridge and milk/tea/coffee, a full length mirror which most places dont have. Loads of sky channels. It was quiet even though you're in the middle of town. Off street parking. Will definitely stay again!

I liked: - Location, a short work from Petone beach and Jackson St shops - easy drive to Wellington CBD and Lower Hutt (depending on traffic) - airflow with windows and a sliding door (I stayed on a ground floor apartment) - fridge and kitchen facilities - comfy bed - ground level courtyards - free onsite parking - clean and tidy Note: Having a car makes it easier and quicker to get around. There is public transport to surrounding locations.

Awesome!

It was clean and quiet. There was plenty of parking. The rooms were modern and the bed was comfortable. The friendly host went out of her way to accommodate our late arrival by leaving out the key, warming our room and putting the bedside lights on. We will definitely be staying here again.

It was prefect for us, We will come here again for sure. Very happy with it.

It was well designed, even a couch. None of it felt crammed. The room was very quiet hardly hearing anything from outside and I need the quiet to relax and rest so would notice this. The internet was fast, great for working and play. Water pressure was excellent and wife commented on the lotions (shower) being very good quality. Parking was good too, as I was out very late it still had a park for me, only 1 but that's all I needed :) The closeness to the main street was great too. Just a block away onto Cuba street.

I'm having to be picky but did notice some red marks on the hand towel. The fridge made some random noises but fridges make noise and as I said I'm picky with sound.
