We loved the location of this hotel, and how it provided a comfortable and quiet place to stay in Olomouc. The staff were very helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful city of Olomouc.

Great location close to the main square.
Nice facility & good continental breakfast.
Staff very friendly, helpful & spoke English.
Room had very effective air conditioning.
Room had really nice bathroom & bedroom had adequate storage space.
Not just a feature of this hotel, but perhaps common to Czech hotels, -- pillows too large & with no substance (Way too soft).
Continental quilt quite small/short, but OK for me.

The shower was ok. Nice pressure and plenty of hot water.
The receptionists were amazing and clearly the heart and soul of the whole place, I just wish I didn't have to keep asking for things that should have been provided automatically.
There were no slippers (even though they're listed in the facilities) and no coffee. Only tea but it was never replenished. Soap ("toiletries") not refilled. Wash basin half blocked. Honestly I don't know what the hype is all about, it's a central location, but to me it was just an average and overpriced place. Plus I was charged some "council tax" on top and I never had to pay it anywhere else.
