Location to Oxford Brookes Uni and accessibility to shops and bus stop to town centre.
Staff who checked us in was lovely.
The bed! Booked a Family room, the double bed was so stiff and in need of a brand new mattress!!
The two single beds are just as worse for wear, my son said he could literally feel the spring on his back, I checked it and felt it myself. We hardly slept due to the fact that the beds were very very uncomfortable.

There was a shared bathroom, which I hadn’t realised when booking, but that was my mistake. Unfortunately, on the last night of my stay, the bathroom was locked and I was unable to use it at all during evening and night, basically until the cleaning lady arrived and unlocked it in the morning.
I understand that this was not the cleaning lady’s fault, but it made the stay uncomfortable, particularly as I could not find another toilet that I was able to use during the night. Regardless of the bathroom being shared, guests should have access to basic bathroom facilities throughout their stay.
Unfortunately, this made what might otherwise have been a perfectly acceptable stay a difficult experience.
