Maissa was incredibly accommodating an early check in, after our flight and bus arrival was much earlier than expected. The communication was prompt and clear. Thank you so much for a lovely, easy stay in Oxford!
The street noise was quite noticeable late into the night on a Saturday but our earplugs worked well.

The price, size and location were all great. I would stay there again if visiting either Oxford or Oxford Brookes University. It's a 15-minute walk to the uni, and there's a Tesco Express 2 minutes away.
Only a minor point, but the fridge wasn't switched on, so it wasn't any use to keep our drinks cool for the evening. But, it's a very minor issue.

The owner was really helpful and the room was clean and tidy.
The neighbour on the second night was arguing/screaming with their partner till around 4am.
The room on the website that was representative of the property was extremely more attractive than the room I actually stayed in. So the initial reaction when walking into this room was one of mis-advertising, but once I'd got over that it was fine.

The location was excellent, easy to walk in to the centre of town. It was clean and basic - we weren't disturbed either from other guests. A great size bed.
It was noisy all night due to the busy Cowley Road, which continued throughout the early hours of the morning - no way around this as the rooms aren't air conditioned and windows needed to remain open due to staying in the summer months. Worth bearing in mind if you are a light sleeper. It needed a bedside table for both sides of the bed, not just one side. There were only two pillows on the double bed, which was disappointing.
