Nice room friendly staff
Lovely room but the tv needs raising as it it is very difficult to pull out without removing everything off unit and makes plugging in kettle difficult
The restaurant evening meal choice for vegetarians is really poor, hence only eat there one night

The location of the Pheasant Hotel was excellent, in a quiet and beautiful part of the countryside. Our "chalet", an old Shepherd;s hut was well designed internally and provided a good base for our short break.
we booked the property after reading that WiFi was available but were disappointed because it was NOT available in Keepers chalet. This may sound minor but WiFi is extreme;y important to enable one of us to get to sleep properly. Consequently, the sleep for one of us was not as easy or comfortable as it should have been and this affected our break.
This was reported to reception after the first night and the receptionist explained that there was some discrepancy because the booking was made through Booking.com and that the hotel's procedure had recently changed and that the hotel now informs customers booking "Keepers" that there is no WiFi. Unfortunately for me, this procedure was not in operation when I booked and therefore I did not know that WiFi was not available for me.
Had I known that WiFi was not available then I would NOT have made the booking.
WiFi for all customers was advertised but was not delivered.
The receptionist said that she would speak to the manager but we received no response at all from the manager. The receptionist did offer several options to us and one was to swap to the other chalet but on inspection this was not as well decorated or as light as the newer chalet.
The other option was to move to a different hotel and to change rooms for each of the 3 remaining days.
We received no response from the manager and consequently feel very disappointed.
