Booked this hotel as we planned a short walking break around Chatsworth, the property is really spacious, tasteful, and in a good location. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall very good
The shower only had a waterfall and no hand held option which is a minor objection

A lovely big hotel with excellent facilities. Generous room - so clean, comfortable and stylish. Loved the tastefully decorated bar area too. Excellent restaurant with lovely staff.

Outstanding breakfast with lots of choice and excellent produce, very good dinner also. The grounds were very nice and the setting in the Peaks beautiful. The room was large, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a very enjoyable stay and will look to stay again when passing through the area.
While the main bed was very nice, the sofa bed that we also had to use (for a family of four) was not so comfortable. The floor in the bathroom got rather wet with the shower which was not ideal with small children, but this may have been because we were in an accessible room. While the grounds were beautiful, they were shared with a wedding party on the day we stayed, and we were worried about intruding in their photos/party; this did affect our enjoyment of the grounds a bit with small and active children.
