Excellent location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. Ripley Castle Estate is a fascinating place and the Castle guided tour is well worth the time and money - the history of the place is incredible.

Location, food and staff.
Delays serving breakfast during the shoot breakfast. Needs to be better thought out, the staff are very stretched.

Location
It is a base for pheasant
shooting which I didn’t know. Although it’s a way of life in that area, there was a shooting party there and I personally oppose killing wildlife for fun so would not stay again.
