Within a safe walking distance to many good restaurants and shops.
I can think of absolutely nothing about the property that is negative in my view.

Guayaquil really doesn’t hold much for leisure visitors with my interests and certain parts of the city are very dangerous indeed particularly after dark. This hotel is large, modern, busy and in a central location, ideal for business stays.
I received a good welcome but check in and check out were very slow. My room was comfortable and had everything that I needed.
I ate in the bar where the service was excellent and the food was good if a little expensive. Breakfast was an extensive buffet and very busy though the restaurant is large and tables were cleared quickly.
I would not stay again but that is more a reflection of my preference for more historic cities/towns and hotels than any criticism of this particular hotel. Guayaquil and this style of hotel are just not my sort of places when I am travelling.

Nice breakfast. Pretty grounds. Nice staff. Shuttle service from the airport.
I was really looking forward to a bath. I book a hotel.specifially.for a bathtub which I do not get regularly. After a very long day of travel this was important. The plug on the bathtub did not work. They moved me to another room and that bathtub again did not work. The front desk lady was kind but it was already after 2am and I did not want to move rooms again.
