Continental breakfast with fruits and yogourt
The room we originally booked was on the 4th floor which involved climbing around 100 steps. This was the only room that can accomodate 3 people. Since we are past the seniors age, this would not have been a no no for us. This was not mentioned when we booked the room. Fortunately, there were rooms on the 2nd floor (in Canada, this is considered the 3rd floor). We ended up booking 2 rooms with additional cost.
Also, the hotel is on the 1st floor, which in Canada is the 2nd floor. It takes 28 steps to go to the reception area. Fortunately, the staff was very helpful and carried our luggage all the way to our rooms.

A step back in time to a beautiful period house almost untouched but still with air-conditioning in bedroom.

The original 1920s decoration through our is fantastic, you feel like you are in another era.
Outside the window or the balcony you look out over trees full of birds in the evening.
Staff were superb and couldn't do anything more for us.
