Breakfast was really good! Coffee & extras aswell as hot yummy food. Waffles, toast, cereal. All lovely! Location was good only a short drive from NEC which was the main reason we found this hotel. Sunday morning staff were lovely & helpful. Clean, no dust or dirt. Good WiFi which can be important for most now a days. Night porter helped us find something that was left in the first room, which was very important medicine.
Few things wrong with first room, plug sockets didn’t seem to be working with the 3 chargers we brought ourselves, small blood/ dark food stain on pillow case. No lock on bathroom door at all, not even a catchment to close the door. Standing desk top fan not working, extraction fan in bathroom not working & no possible way to open bathroom window as sealed shut. When we called reception to let them know of what’s wrong, we were asked to come downstairs to give over the key to get a new room key to switch into another room, so we decided to pack our stuff & get downstairs soon as we could, before not even a minute later there was a knock at the door with 2 members of staff coming in the room to check everything. Kettle was plugged into other sockets & started working, I mentioned the bathroom door not having a latch & felt very intimidated with “you’ll be getting another room now”. For us to then go find our room by ourselves up the stairs, fair enough we found it, but we left 2-3 things in the first room because of feeling rushed out the first one. Second room was a lot better but very hot. Struggled to sleep through the night. Both beds in each room were hard as rock, I struggled to sleep through the night due to it being so hard. Weird bathroom stain on the floor, like a turmeric stain. Parking wasn’t clear it was to the rear of building, weird directions given by staff. Weekend staff were lovely! Woke up early this morning & felt relaxed to enjoy breakfast & couldn’t be of anymore help.

Good location very comfortable room good restaurant
Not keen on the breakfast set up we had to ask where the plates and all the utensils were cups et cetera and you get them from the bar and also the plate for the hot breakfast was cold we could do with having the plates where the breakfast is serve served

Location was ideal for our stay and the rooms were very clean and well.presented
In one of the rooms the shower door was broken but staff were great and very helpful
