Great area to stay in, well connected to transport network and a few minutes away from the touristy part of Balat.
While the outside of the hotel is very unassuming, the room and sanitary facilities were perfectly clean, with towels and shower products provided.
You can wash your clothes for free, but have to find a way to dry it in your room (I used the clothes hangers and closet doors, worked just fine).
Staff is extremely nice, the breakfast provided is quite good.
You can leave your bags after check-out to explore before you leave the city.
The hotel comes with cute furry friends that are just begging to be pet at all times.

The owner was so helpful and friendly, and he really made the hotel feel like home! The location was great, a few minutes from the water, in the evening it's nice to go for a walk along the water towards Eminonu. It was easy to get the tram or bus from very near the hotel. I had a very yummy lentil soup for breakfast!! The wifi was great and my room was lovely. I will definitely come back next time I visit Istanbul!
