Fabulous hotel, very near to the train station and less than 10 minute walk from the lake. We loved this place. All the team working there are first class, helpful, cheerful and really helped make the holiday special. Room was spotless, bed very comfy and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from and lots of fresh produce and cakes. Special mention for the décor. The whole hotel was beautifully designed, especially the terrace area, which we loved sitting in and having a drink to relax. Can't wait to go back to Como and we will definitely stay at this hotel again

It was not possible to leave the luggage at the hotel for more than 2 hours for free. We wanted to leave the luggage after checkout at the hotel in order to walk without luggage in the city of Como until our train would leave in the late afternoon. However, the hotel requested 3 Euros per luggage per hour after the 2-hours grace period. For us, this would have costed 45 Euros because we had 3 luggages and we had to leave the luggage until late afternoon. This is clearly inacceptable and this is the first time in my life that a hotel wants to charge me 45 Euros to keep my luggage after checkout. I don’t understand the reason for this policy, since the hotel looked quite large and felt almost empty so it had enough room to put the luggage in an unused room. The person at the desk was not willing to make an exception for us and we had to carry our luggage with us during the day in Como.
