Position A for the archeological site, and easy access to the train line for visiting Herculaneum, Naples and Sorrento. Eating breakfast overlooking the ruins made for a perfect start to the day!

The hotel is right by the gate to the excavations by the amphitheatre. We had pre booked tickets so were able to walk straight in when it opened and before it got crowded. The in house restaurant was good and we found some great eating places close by too (some incredibly cheap but still first class food)
There were no proper cups or glasses in the rooms

No drawer space, no shelves, no coffee sachets available for coffee in the room, no milk for tea, Hotel felt like a travel lodge not a four star hotel

Great location within walking distance from the train station and facing the archaeological park.
The room was adequate for our needs although could not understand there being a kettle and 2 tea bags but no coffee or milk!
The lady in charge of breakfast was extremely welcoming and helpful. There was a good choice of food made all the better by the view as the breakfast room is on the 4th floor.
We stayed for 4 nights and as we had a packed agenda booked half board which was a huge disappointment. The restaurant is connected to the hotel but also open to the public and could be noisy as our room was situated above. The menu for half board was very limiting made worse by the fact that we had to pay service charge, of which we were unaware, every night !
