Exceptional hospitality, perfect location & a truly memorable stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Downtown Hotel, and I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough — especially if you’re visiting Dubai for the first time. The location is fantastic and makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and getting around. It’s a great base for anyone wanting to experience Dubai without the hassle.
What truly stood out, though, was the hospitality of the entire team. Their warmth, genuine welcomes and willingness to go above and beyond are second to none. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and looked after.
A special mention to Alaa, Mostafa and Chito, who were exceptional and made our stay even more memorable. Your kindness, attentiveness and professionalism did not go unnoticed.
But, to be completely honest, every single member of staff deserves recognition — from reception and the lobby team, to the cleaners and breakfast staff. I can genuinely say that nothing went unnoticed. The level of customer service you all deliver is exceptional and outstanding, and it’s clear that you treat every guest with the same care and respect — even the children.
It’s something truly special to see a team that consistently goes the extra mile, not because they have to, but because they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in what they do.
To the entire Sofitel Downtown team: thank you. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for every one of you. You made us feel welcomed, valued and at home, and that is what exceptional hospitality is all about.
We will absolutely be back and would happily recommend Sofitel Downtown to anyone visiting Dubai. An outstanding hotel made even more special by its incredible people. ❤️

The presidential suite was spacious with amazing views.
Shower in the presidential suite was not good. The drainage was not effective as there was always a puddle of water after you’re done showering. The tiles need an upgrade fast. The locked up Balmain moisturizer bottle didn’t have any moisturizer in it. The rooms and the hotel lobby needs to smell better. Breakfast should be improved. We understand the importance of preserving the earth and recycling but please towels should be fresh.
