Location, comfy bed, clean, friendly and keen staff.
Noise from bar at 0040hr, shampoo as hand soap, one biscuit to share, non standard uk plug sockets so there was only one spare charging socket which was away from bedside but desk got in the way of using it, no freeview/tv only a "Firestick" BBC iplayer and ITVX (Im an old IT dummy so dont know how to work these things), no guest instructions in the room. Too much info rattled off on arrival left the older and younger guest scratching our heads a bit.....(unsure about the taste of the water from tap)....menu a bit boring.

Great start staff very welcoming,
Bedroom very spacious with everything you'd need
Dinner was amazing and the wee lass waiting out section was lovely
Toilet cistern ran constantly and Mattress was very hard but could have overlooked both but the noise from below our room from 2200 onwards was horrendous, it sounded like moving banging clattering very heavy furniture,
We fully expected noise being above a restaurant/pub but this was way above the general noise anticipated.
A mixture of all three made for a very disappointing night

The decor was tasteful, the location was great, out of the city and close to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly.
We booked an executive King room which said it had a king size bed, but didn’t, there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom which was initially hidden by and overpowering air freshner smell, the shower wasn’t powerful, the water trickled out and wasn’t hot. There wasn’t clear instructions on how to work the TV ( harder than you would think ). The bedside lamp sockets had round pin fittings instead of the normal UK fittings, the towel heater was rusty and the bathroom windows had paint on them. Our stay wasn’t as bad as this sounds but don’t expect anything other than ordinary.
