Such a lovely quirky beautiful old building which you can see is being lovingly restored.
Staff were ALL really polite and very helpful .
But the best thing about our stay was the food, wow!
Had dinner and breakfast and food was piping hot and tasted so fresh with a lot of choice for breakfast. The evening meal was the nicest meal out I’ve had in ages. Will definitely be back as travel this way for work quite a lot. And a big bonus for me was that they welcomed and fussed my little dog Mia who also felt very welcome.
Also the whole place was nipping clean!
Nothing to not like apart from our room could do with a update but didn’t affect our stay at all and I know they are in the process of making updates to the rooms

The staff were very welcoming and the food was very good in evening. Lots of choices at breakfast which was so nice.
Was a little overpriced but fully understood as there was a car show locally making the area busy.

The room was amazing, spacious and really comfortable. The double size bath with jets was a real luxury and the view from the bed was beautiful and relaxing.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful and both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious.
Despite being on a main road the bedroom was very quiet and I would stay again without hesitation.

Good location for what I needed and plenty of parking. Friendly welcome…
Very uncomfortable bed and room was a trek! Really creaky floorboards from the room above which can’t really be helped but when the guests above were walking around at 1am I was woken.
The food wasn’t great. I had fish and chips but the fish was watery. For breakfast I had a bacon roll but the bacon, although thick, was chewy and had a bit of an odd aftertaste.
