The location is beautiful, a bit challenging to access.
Communication in advance about the meals was a bit disjoint. I’d send a message in booking.com app and it would be missed or long delays in reply.

Attention to detail and dining experience
Some of the staff were abrupt. My husband wanted to sit next to me at breakfast and a member of staff told him he shouldn’t have moved and sat at the other end of table where a place had been set earlier

Exceptional in every way.
Amazing staff, amazingly decorated. Very exquisite. Fabulous food - both dinner and breakfast.
It’s worth every penny and more. One of best stays we ever had and I had many. Will definitely come back.

Nice traditional location farmhouse off the city of Tain on Road 500, not too far from Inverness, in a nice relaxing Scotland countryside. Close to the coast & access to a public beach. Whisky tasting from the homonymous liquor company acting as its guest house.
Pretentious interior design has ruined this location, mixing contemporary design with hideous decorative bling bling artefacts from both local crafts and international styles. Freestanding colourful Giraffe welcomed us in our over decorated room with a mixture of textiles unseen before. False luxury at its worst from French House LVMH, owner of the whisky brand giving its name to this infamous place. Unnecessary bloody expensive from bedroom to "mandatory" Aperitive & Dinner.
