The breakfast was extremely well thought out and generous. Beautifully cooked breakfast and very nice bread with a choice left for toasting. Plenty of tea on offer and a jug of fruit juice left.

The house was extremely interesting and you could tell a very much loved family home. Wonderful hosts.

We loved the quiet, peaceful location and warm, inviting atmosphere - Teresa was an excellent host who went out of her way to accommodate our every request especially the need for an early breakfast as we had to leave early for a Loch Ness cruise. Teresa and Alistair were excellent with their pre-arrival communication. The room was very comfortable and exactly what we were looking for in a classic B&B. The room was very well laid out and Teresa ran us through everything in a clear and concise manner. Our only regret was that we didn’t get to spend more time here. If ever we are back in the area this would be my favourite place to stay.
There is nothing to dislike about this place in our view.

Our stay felt like being invited into someone's home and finding a genuine welcoming atmosphere in a place that spoke of a long history and continuing legacy. We had a comfortable night in a large room and were also invited to sit in the living area to dry off after a long journey through pouring rain. The owners were friendly and helpful and so we felt at ease very quickly. An excellent breakfast was served in the morning and we left thinking this is somewhere we would stay again.
Is everything perfect? No, as this is a functioning home, as well as somewhere you can stay if you wish, so it isn't that we didn't like something, it is just that visitors should not expect perfection in an old estate house but if you are willing to experience something of genuine character then this is the perfect place to stay.
