Clean, comfortable and well maintained

Good food, good entertainment, good drinks, clean rooms, adults only, water bottle facilities.
The only criticism I have is that I found some of the staff to be quite rude, particularly some of the reception team, who could have been more polite. I accidentally left a room card in my room, and when I went to reception the staff member seemed annoyed and made a point of saying he would have to cancel all the cards. His tone made it clear he wasn’t happy about it. When we checked out, there was no “thank you” and they didn’t even ask how our stay had been. I also asked for a luggage room key, and the first thing I was told was that they would need it straight back!! again, not said in a polite or friendly way. Overall, the lack of courtesy from some of the reception staff really let the experience down.

Ongoing building work to improve the hotel
Couple of room issues such as damp all over the bathroom ceiling, tv didn’t work, shower rails coming away from the wall but it’s all wear and tear

Was a good size pool
Evening entertainment was more for children and very loud, staff was not very friendly just spoke amongst themselves never a good morning or anything, breakfast was ok nothing special.
They never changed the bed sheets in 7 days I did ask but was never done, the clean they give is very minimal, no top up of teas coffee etc either
