About this apartment rental

Historic apartment of the XIV century, recently renovated and furnished in Venetian style, with exposed beams and Murano glass chandeliers.

The apartment, called Ca 'Ai Putti (House of Cherubini ), located on the first floor in the Dorsoduro district (20 steps), can comfortably accommodate 6/8 guests, with its 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , kitchen and large living / dining room.
All spaces have been decorated in Venetian style, the polished wooden floors make the house warm and cozy, as well as high ceilings with wooden beams and period features Venetian Gothic windows.

The fully equipped kitchen allows you to accommodate large groups. The bedrooms, each of a different color, is bright and spacious and expertly coordinated style ' Rococo '. Throughout the house you can admire the splendid chandeliers in Murano glass, which give shine and lavishness.
The two bathrooms, one with shower and washing machine and the other with the pond, there are close to two of the three bedrooms.
The apartment is decorated in Venetian style, with Murano chandeliers and colorful fabric wallpaper on the walls.

The apartment is about 300 meters from the Cà Rezzonico ferry stop. Very easy to reach both from Venice Santa Lucia train station (ferry line 1) and from Venice Marco Polo Airport (Orange Alilaguna ferry).

It is located in a quiet area of Venice, in the Dorsoduro district, in one of the most beautiful 'calle', very close to several restaurants and bars.
Dorsoduro boasts a rich presence, second only to the sestiere of San Marco, of churches, palaces and museums.

Right in the center of the sestiere we find Campo Santa Margherita, a space very popular with young university students and tourists, considered one of the most lively places in the city. It is the ideal place if you want to stop and try the "spritz", an alcoholic aperitif prepared with prosecco, aperol (bitter) and sparkling water. At night the Campo is one of the places most frequented by young people, who consider it a meeting place for the Venetian nightlife.

A walk along the Fondamenta Zattere is highly recommended, which will allow you to enjoy a very suggestive view of the Giudecca Canal. In spring-summer it becomes one of the most popular places to walk, thanks also to the rich presence along the Fondamenta of bars, ice-cream parlors and restaurants.

The Zattere and Accademia area is also considered one of the most exclusive in the city as it contains within it the rare examples of modern residential architecture.
300 meters from the Cà Rezzonico ferry stop; you can reach all points of interest (Piazza San Marco - 10 min, Rialto Bridge - 10 min, Architecture Biennale, La Fenice Theater ..).

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with a "small welcome basket" with Italian products and the booking will send you via email a guide of Venice.

First off, the host was amazing and so easy to communicate with. She did everything she could to accomodate our large family with a difficult travel schedule. The apartment itself is GORGEOUS and very spacious. The AC worked well. It is maybe a 19 minute walk to Rialto and a little further to the palace. But the restaurant situation near this apartment is great! More authentic and less expensive than the more touristy areas. There is a little square nearby with a Davinci interactive experience if you have kids. All in all this place is perfect! Highly recommend.

This apartment is brilliant. Totally Venetian gorgeous with everything you could want. It is in a great location. We traveled with 3 grandchildren and were comfortable leaving them in Piazza San Barnaba so they could buy their gelati and then sit on the steps on the bridge to eat them before making their way home. We felt very smug going out with our shopping jeep to the supermercato and the canal boat selling the fruit and veg. Scilla was reliable, gracious and generous with our welcome gifts and basic foodstuffs in stock. We have stayed in Venice many times but this was without doubt our best accommodation and location.
