Comfortable and convenient location for the South Downs Way and other local walks.
Needs some attention to basic maintenance. A plug socket needed to be replaced and the mastic around the shower needed to be changed.

The White Hart was in a great location to the wedding reception we were attending. Our room- Number 2- Roe room was in a converted stable block behind the main pub. The restoration is done to great detail with a lovely walk in shower. Room was well equipped with coffee machine and some welcome shortbread. We stayed on a room only basis but did have breakfast in the main pub next morning that was also lovely and was 2 for £16, so good value. A lovely stay. Would stay again if we were in that area again.
Only negatives were that had a few messages about why we hadn't booked directly. Had enquired about early check in but they couldn t fulfill due to direct bookings having late check out. Would have been remote if not for the wedding we were attending, as not in Petersfield- in South Harting. Also it had a skylight blind & remote didn't work properly- no instructions- had to google. Could only get closed about half way after about 30 mins trying & then it opened by itself in the morning. Otherwise a lovely overnight stay.
