Cosy place, with a beautiful terrace and a lovely communal table where we had breakfast. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Found it a bit expensive.

Absolute recommended for your stay in Oaxaca!
It’s very close to the centre but just far enough to have very quiet nights. The beds are very comfortable and the 5 rooms decorated with much care.
The breakfast is very charming, with always a local option being offered.
But above all is the extremely kind and helpful staff. There is always someone there 24/7 to not only open the main door for you (great security) but also to respond to your questions and give recommendations (from what to do, which tour or cooking class to book or where to wash your laundry).
You can leave your luggage with them if you’re leaving late and there’s a bathroom to use and get changed.
We had a great time in Oaxaca and above all in La Casa Carlota!

Very kind staff. Need to use
translator as most of the staff does not speak English. They gave us excellent recommendations for Oaxaca and tour company. The location is very convenient. The room and beds comfortable. Shower was good and hot. Great breakfast which changed every day. Nice roof top to take adrink up ans relax after day of touring. Worth the money.

The location is really good. The styling was cool. The staff were helpful but quite intense.
The noise, one night the music went till 1am. We were pre warned of some noise but not the that extent. It was like being in a club. I also found it was not family friendly. The communal area isn't very comfortable. We were on split floors and it wasn't ideal.
