+ Nice and clean room. Beautifully designed, small property.
+ Breakfast needs to be pre-ordered but was good.
+ Staff was always friendly and very helpful.
- Our room was on the first floor and had a sliding door. This came with several problems: 1) The door doesn't close 100% (a small gap remains) and doesn't keep out sounds at all. You can hear anything happening in the hotel courtyard and even on the street. 2) We were there in the rainy season. One day, after only 10mins of heavy rain, there was quite some water coming into the room underneath the door. We were lucky to be in the room at the time and placed some towels there, otherwise we would have had a bad surprise on our return.
- The bathroom window also did not fully close.
- The beds are VERY soft. Pillows are very hard. I would assume this setup doesn't suit more than 1/3 of people. Unfortunately, it seems to be the standard in Mexican hotels. We woke up with achy backs each day.
- The location is okay and within 10-15min walking distance to the historic center, but not quite as good as we had expected. Being located in a less busy street is a plus.

Lovely little hotel - the rooms are a good size and they were cleaned daily!
The staff were wonderful, super attentive. Breakfast was really nice too, you can pre order the night before and can give them a time.
The location of the hotel was great, close to everything - really recommended your looking for a peaceful stay

Location is great much more calmer area of the city.
The property just felt a bit off. Barely came across people. Staff seemed to be there only on the morning. Breakfast was offered but we didn’t partake as we preferred to eat elsewhere. Communal spaces are limited and internet is bad. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the WiFi signal isn’t strong enough to reach the room. We had no internet during our stay and also be aware there is no TV. Just very basic accommodation and not worth the price. We stayed at another hotel before this one and offered much more. The room is clean. One caveat is the window in the bathroom isn’t completely sealed so insects can easily enter the bathroom. Also felt the AC unit was quite loud and probably needs service.
