Fabulous little cottage with plenty of room for a family of four. Well appointed facilities in the kitchen and porch area.
All rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable.
The Forrester's Lodge we stayed at had a lovely garden to the rear that was securely fenced and ideal for dog and small children. Beyond the garden was a small fast flowing river, the sounds of which added to the charm.
The village of Luss is across the (busy) road, which can be easily crossed as there are plenty of long gaps in the traffic.
The nearest town is Balloch (15 mins drive), which is handy for all essentials and I highly recommend the river cruise from Sweeney's Cruises.
Only negative, which we knew about in the first place anyway, was that it was close to a busy road with fast moving traffic and there was some road noise. However, this was not within view of the cottage, and the sound of the river offset most of the road noise.

The property was scrupulously clean and well furnished. It is ideally placed for the amenities of Luss.
We enjoyed sitting in the enclosed garden overlooking a small stream. Although the property is close to a busy road there is minimal road noise.
A welcome package of tea, coffee & milk was supplied.
We’d have preferred a king size bed.
There was a limited number of mugs, & glasses supplied. As there was a dishwasher a few extra would have been helpful.

Lovely property. Close proximity to Luss and hotel. Shower was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was lovely and comfortable with good pillows. Great smart TV with access to TV apps. Internet was good. Beautiful location next to a river.

Some road noise as it’s next to A82, but couldn’t hear anything inside property. Sofa was ok but too small for two.

Good food available within hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Luss is a lovely location by Loch Lomond.
We stayed in a cottage which was in the grounds but on the other side of the very busy A82. The accommodation itself needed some attention; dining table was so wobbly you couldn’t eat at it. Bed and sofa were uncomfortable. Overall it didn’t feel like value for money.
