This was my second stay here. Love that they have a single room option. 5th floor single room was much better configured than the 2nd floor single room, felt much more spacious. And the beds in both were still doubles, just the rooms are quite small. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the Marais but on a cosy little street. Couldn't tell you what breakfast was like as it was too difficult to go with my dog. She wasn't allowed in dining room and although I was offered that I could eat in reception, trying to go serve myself with her left in reception felt too tricky.
Lift is quite old and rickety so if you are scared of lifts make sure you're staying on a low floor! Also, not just this hotel but all hotels need to up their game when it comes to pets. They allow them but don't really welcome them. They're not allowed at breakfast here and in other hotels I have stayed at they have a dog bed, dog bowl and dog treat in the room on arrival for example. Obviously not essential but with the increase in pet parents these days, they're really missing a trick by not making the place more pet welcoming (rather than just pet allowing)

Nothing at all in context. Exactly the accomodation you would expect in Paris and at a high standard

Location, location, location. The best area of Paris I've stayed in. Bars, restaurants and excellent shopping nearby. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff at the 24hr reception of this hotel was a plus. The area felt very safe. Windows of the rooms open onto a side street which created a natural breeze. Given how small Paris rooms can be and how expensive it is generally to stay in Paris, we were very impressed with this place. Will stay here again.
Small thing, but I would have loved a small fridge in our room.

The location, the aesthetic, and staff was very accommodating. They held our bags for us after check out so we could explore the city some more. Easy access to metro stop and grocery stores.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The cleaning staff start cleaning very early on in the morning and they are so loud, they don’t seem to try to be courtesy to sleeping guests at all. They also leave their cleaning stuff all over the hallway to where it almost seems like a hazard. Not to mention the walls are paper thin, we could hear water from the rooms next to ours running when they used the restroom. The elevator was very small so we couldn’t bring all our luggage up at once. There are stairs getting from when you exit the elevator to getting to your room which are very narrow and twisty. The hallway by the rooms aren’t very wide. Ceilings are a bit low, so if you’re over 6ft, your head is going to be almost touching the ceiling. Just an fyi that the Tv doesn’t have any English channels, so if you want to watch tv in English, you won’t be able to. The bathroom shower is in a tub where you have to step up pretty high to climb into it and the shower glass only covers a little less than half, so water gets on the floor when using it. When flushing the toilet, the small button to flush got stuck and wouldn’t come out so we were only able to flush using the big button. They don’t give you wash cloths so you will need to bring your own. We requested a late checkout the night before checking out and the gentleman at the desk said we do 12pm, however, we received a call at 11:40am from a different employee at the front desk saying “checkout was at 11:30 and its now 11:40”. When I told him about our approved late check out (apparently it wasn’t put into a system somewhere), he said “no, check out is at 11:30am, checkout BEFORE 12). When we got down to the desk, he said that housekeeping was pressuring with cleaning the room. It was very annoying and frustrating.
