Our reception staff was friendly and welcoming to both the hotel and the city. I appreciated being able to leave our bags in a secure location while waiting to check in
The shower was unusual, based on US standards. The bathtub was very tall to enter, but it was shallow. The shower door only covered the front half of the tub so water sprayed out.

Very convenient, part of the station building, underneath the clock tower.
(Not to be confused with the Mercure Gare de Lyon Opera Bastille nearby. )

The hotel is next to Gare de Lyon which is a bonus after a long travel day. bed was very comfortable.
