I really enjoyed my stay here I was at the top floor room and a lovely room spacious and clean and lovely view out looking at the castle , had everything what you need like coffee tea and a bonus coffee machine with alot of pods for the machine. What a lovely surprise it was in the morning a goodie bag by your door with a continental breakfast inside complementary, I will definitely be back for my stay what a gem this place was , deffo recommend this place to stop

Location was excellent. One window looked out to the Castle and the other towards the harbor. And the train and bus stations are a couple of blocks away.
Breakfast was yogurt, fruit, roll and orange juice delivered in a bag to your door. Just enough to get you off and running.
The bed was hard, which I am okay with, but the pillows were also, which I didn't like. The bathroom was wonky. You had to pull a cord for water pressure and then in the shower there were two controls for temperature. Didn't really figure it out. Hard to open windows, but there was a fan. I knew it was a three floor walk up in advance, (luckily staff helped), but good practice for castle turret climbing.

Property was located very close to car park. Long stay in town centre.
No working bathroom light or extractor fan
Empty can of air freshener left in bathroom.
TV remote. Not working.
Shower rise and fall pole came away when I tried to lower shower head.
This was in one room.
Friends staying in a separate room had curtains hanging off rail with one or two hooks. They had to climb on a stool to drape curtains over the top of rail. This was a room that I had requested an upgrade on. A upgrade was supposed to have been allocated at no extra cost .
Breakfast couldn’t be served until at least 8.30 , this was of no use to us but that was our choice. Did call owner who said he would request an earlier drop off. It’s left outside your door. No hot food.
