Great communication before arrival and a very welcoming, informative host.
We had a lovely, spacious room with excellent A/C, which was much appreciated in the 34°C heat. The location is fantastic — very central and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions.
A couple of small things could be improved. The mini fridge in the room was broken, which was disappointing as we would have liked to have cold water during the hot weather. A few of the lights also needed new bulbs. Both are basic, easy fixes that would make the stay even better.
There are also several flights of stairs to reach the accommodation. This is mentioned in the description, but it is worth highlighting for anyone travelling with large or heavy suitcases, as we were.
Overall, a lovely stay with a great host and an excellent location. We would happily stay here again once these small maintenance issues are addressed.

Comfortable beds and very friendly host!
The water pressure in the shower wasn't very good, but I really think that's everywhere in Rome. I think it's just a low water pressure area

Decent hotel however not so spacious. The best part is the reception Ry and staff Anna are kind and very polite. If you are someone used to big hotels then this is one of those old boutique hotel with few facilities. You need to carry your luggage up 2 floors, there is no elevator so take note. Otherwise no complains.
