The property was a short walk away from the popular tourist spots in the city and right on the water front which was lovely. The room was spacious and had everything I needed with kitchen access and usage. The lady who checked me in was very polite and gave a warm welcome. She also provided me with a map to get around and included a lot of recommendations for attractions, food and drink. I would definitely recommend Sol road for a short stay in Venice

Silk Road is one of those treasures you find only occasionally - perfectly located, with the sound of the water and wonders of Venice right outside the door, this is a peaceful place to sleep with a kind and friendly host for whom nothing is too much trouble

Everything! The host was wonderful to us - taking time to talk us through the rules of the room, talk us through a map highlighting nice things to do/restaurants/shops nearby. Amazingly, they helped with organizing the best way to arrive from the airport, which was a huge help!
The location is located right on the water with restaurants nearby, with great gluten free options. The entire place has a very authentic feeling about it, and very nicely decorated.
Overall, we just felt really taken care of and had an extremely pleasant experience!

The place was located in front of Giudecca, with a beautiful view of the island. The San Basilio waterbus stop was less than 1 minute walking from there! The person welcoming us was extremely nice.
The furnitures were extremely essential and slightly damaged. The beds were not as comfy as we hoped: the mattresses seemed old, and the rest of the room seemed older. The towels were not included and the kitchen can be used only from 18:00 to 21:00 (and only the microwave).
