Suitable location for taking a night break from a long distance travelling to Devon from East of England

The staff were so friendly and attentive, the bar and dining room areas were very pretty.
It was lovely and quiet overnight.
The mattress and shower needs updating.

Breakfast was adequate.
The place really needs a complete make over, looking tired and in desperate need of a renovation!
