Old skool hostel with an authentic vibe

I like the locking system. I like that I had a view to the street. And I was able to use wi-fi and electricity for free. The staff was very amazing. They work 24/7.
I didn't like the bathrooms. It felt like I won't have the privacy that I need. And I am excited to see the bottom floor repaired. It would be amazing. I can't imagine staying for longer than 3 days.

The staff is overall nice and helpful, there's a lovely patio with a lemon tree, a storage room, besides storage lockers in the room ( bring a padlock! And towels too as they are not provided for free). The fan in the ceiling does its job so no complaints despite the scorching heat of these days. The location is central enough. There's abundance of showers and WC cubicles. Overall a nice vibe, especially for the very young ones!
Water in sinks and showers are operated through a button on the wall: you press it and you have a week flow for a few seconds. Getting washed in the morning was a frustrating and unnerving experience.
Kitchen is basic, no kettle.
Rooms quite dusty, some showers downright dirty.
But what I found absolutely unacceptable was that on the last day I had to change room ( from 13 to 12). That in itself was not an issue, but I found myself in a MIXED DORM despite having booked a female dorm. For this reason only I would warn any woman who really have a preference in this regard ( like I do) to avoid this hostel. I found out at 4 am, when the guy entered the room and went to sleep on the bed below mine, otherwise I would have gladly changed hostel, in the evening. Nothing was said to me about this, I was even told that..."Two GIRLS are already in the room".... I found it disrespectful to be lied this way.
Lastly: they have a price list with water being sold for 2Euros. But they charge 3Euros.
