The mattress was creaky and uncomfortable, very disappointing. The couch was actually a futon but as a couch it was very uncomfortable, hard and pleather.

Beautiful location. The view of the lake, the firepit and the use of canoes and kayaks were great for our family. The staff were also super helpful and responsive.
Unfortunately I think when we came back we found out we were bitten by bedbugs. The property asked us to being our own bedding, which in my view can increase the transmission of bed bugs. I hope the hosts check the beds of the cottage we stayed at (number 7). The cottage could have a been a bit cleaner, the floor was sandy for example and having a vacuum in the cottage would have been helpful.
