We liked almost everything, as always. We have been coming here since 2007, and I believe this is our fourteenth time choosing this place, which says a lot about how much we appreciate it.
Since last year’s renovation, the rooms look very nice: elegant and comfortable.
The staff is generally kind and attentive.
We also appreciated the breakfast, especially the fact that some of the products are organic, such as the apricots, the jam and the cheese.
However, the arrival experience was unpleasant. After a journey of about 14 hours, we pointed out that the room did not correspond to the photos shown on Booking, especially regarding the view from the balcony. The answer we received was inappropriate: “take it or leave it.” It was the first time in all these years that we had received such a reply here.
We understand that staff members may also have difficult days and many check-ins to manage, but such a response is not appropriate when dealing with guests, especially guests who have been returning for so many years.
Because this place means a lot to us, we chose to overlook that moment.
However, for the future, it would be fair for the photos on Booking to reflect the rooms offered as accurately as possible.
If that particular view is available only from the apartment, it should not be presented as belonging to a deluxe double room.

The rooms were clean and even bigger than I expected. Even the beds were super big :)
I would say it was a lot better then a Hilton I stayed in Brussels.
A lot to choose on the breakfast buffet.
The towels kinda' need changing. They were clean, but starting to come apart. They must have gone through lots and lots of washing.
Not sure why but the coffee machines from upper levels were unplugged. I would have loved to have a hot cup of coffee there and enjoy the balcony view.
