Oh, bless them, they took me to the train station.

The hosts were very helpful, even to the point of taking me to the train station. The place is somewhat outside the central city, but I was able to get there by bus quite easily. There's an excellent pub about a kilometer away. The room was quiet, looked out on a garden and had everything I needed, done in the usual, immaculate New Zealand style.

That area of Christchurch really assumes that everyone has a car, which I didn't.

Drop off to the airport was very useful. Breakfast was just basic. Good for 1 day stay as there is no sightseeing places nearby.

Just fabulous

This B&B is a little gem. Fiona and her husband are wonderful hosts and made us feel very at home. The swimming pool was a great bonus on a hot day. The bed was sooo comfy and the breakfast provided was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for Fiona, she went out of her way to help us and we are so grateful. If we are ever back in Christchurch we won’t hesitate to stay here again!

Wunderbare Unterkunft in Christchurch zwischen Flughafen und City

Bei einer Nacht lässt sich nicht viel sagen, aber ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, konnte entspannen und war unglaublich dankbar über das Shuttle-Angebot vom Bahnhof und zum Flughafen! Leider konnte ich nicht länger bleiben... Thanks so much and all the best!

Außer, dass mir im Bad eine kleine Ablage am Waschbecken gefehlt hat, war alles bestens!

Quiet peaceful accommodation with friendly hosts

The hosts were really nice. They live in a lovely property and the accommodation was very good, clean, comfortable and in a nice quiet area. Breakfast was also very good with cereals, toast, orange juice, fruit, etc. It is also a short walk to the Riccarton Sunday market, which was worth a visit. Overall a great place to stay especially if arriving or departing from Christchurch airport which is just up the road.

Basic stop over place

Fairly well equipped with all basic needs & comfortable enough beds . Lovely cold pool was a welcome treat on a hot day.

Loved the Nespresso machine in the bedroom but not a great place if you value a hearty variety for breakfast. Accommodation & bedding/ towels looked a bit tired .

Comfortable room with access to garden and outdoor deck area with seating.

It’s a bit out of the way, with no restaurants or shops within easy walking distance.

A quiet convenient and very comfortable place to stay

Dry comfortable beds so we had a great sleep. Appreciated being picked up from airport- it was not far but very quiet in the room. An ideal start to out NZ holiday

Podróż po Nowej Zelandii najlepiej zacząć w domu Fiony. Niezwykle ciepłe, rodzinne, gościnne miejsce. Poznasz tu Nową Zelandię od najlepszej strony. Fiona interesuje się swoimi gośćmi. Nas odebrała z lotniska, zadbała o to byśmy nie byli głodni, a już buteleczka słynnego lokalnego mleka w lodówce była rozbrajającym bonusem. Pokój ma wszystkie wygody i więcej.

Nie ma takiej rzeczy.

Great B&B but cash only

Lovely room. Fiona was very friendly. Very helpful taking us to the airport.

It should be much clearer that you have to pay in cash. This is hidden on the last line of the policies and should be much more obvious. We had run our money down so had to pay an extra $6 ATM fee

Highly recommended after of before a flight.

+ Breakfast. Fiona was a very welcoming host who picked us up from the airport. When we left she also drove us back there to pick up our rental car, much appreciated!

The breakfast was great. The location was just what we wanted - close to the airport. The host was very friendly, and she very kindly took us to the airport when we were leaving.

The toilet side have 2 taps, one for hot and cold, instead of 1 tap.

The best!

As soon as we walked in we felt like we were at home! We had never stayed at a B&B before, so we didn't know what to expect and because we were arriving very early in the morning (1:30am) we felt a bit worried about entering someone else's house without meeting them first ... However, with clear communication we had no issues and felt instantly relieved. Fiona is extremely welcoming! We stayed for one night at the beginning of our trip and enjoyed coming back for the final night of our trip. Breakfast both times was extremely appreciated and if we return to New Zealand we will definitely start our trip here again!

We were staying 1 night, flying in from Sydney then catching the Trans Alpine train next morning. The logistics of our trip were made seamless as our host collected us from the airport and was happy to provide an early breakfast in the morning and then take us to the train station. So appreciative of Fiona's willingness to assist and her happy disposition.

Weather was poor, rain threatening so distance to walk to shops/restaurants was too far.
