Nice location close to the center and yoga barn

Nice location close to the city center and yoga barn. Clean accommodation, staff is very sweet and provide you with stories every day.

Limited pool beds (and these are a bit dirty), quite noisy however they provide you with earplugs

Sehr gepflegt und schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Personal in Ubud.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Ubud aber ist dennoch sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Anlage und der Bereich am Pool sind sehr gepflegt und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem sind die Zimmer sehr groß und haben alle einen Balkon oder eine Sitzmöglichkeit vor der Eingangstür. Während der balinesischen Feiertage haben wir persönlich Anschreiben erhalten und wurden so über die Besonderheiten während diese Tage aufgeklärt. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmsten weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne jederzeit wieder. Danke für alles!

Uitstekend, absolute aanrader!

Het was echt even ontspannen, met heel goede service en vriendelijk personeel! De locatie is top; bijna alles op loopafstand, en toch rustig en relaxt zodra je in het hotel bent!

Ganz tolles Hotel in Ubud!

Wir empfanden die Unterkunft als außergewöhnlich gut. Wir waren fünf Nächte dort. Sehr schön angelegter Außenbereich, tolle und saubere Zimmer und ein hervorragender und freundlicher Service. Vom Hotel sind viele Cafés, Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Monkeyforest oder der Palast zu Fuß erreichbar. Insgesamt sehr sehr empfehlenswert, um in Ubud zu verweilen!!

We didn't like the top floor room ,having to walk up 5 flights of stairs,found it strange there were ear plugs beside our bed , but soon found out why ? noisy dogs and roosters next door all night did not stop all night . Drove me mad

An idyllic hotel, with nice surroundings and lots to explore around it.

The property was decorated and designed in a very thoughtful and pleasant way, that made you feel and experience the Balinese culture. The bedsheets were very clean and the towels as well. The pool was empty and it was nice to relax there after a day of sightseeing or traveling around. The whole staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive and accommodating. They helped us organize transport and informed us about Balinese culture. It was a good stay!

The property is not far from center, but it does take a while to get into the city center where the main attractions are, as the roads are busy and hard to cross sometimes. Side walks in Ubud are not always available, which is something to keep in mind - but definitely not the accommodations fault. Some facilities are a bit run down as can be expected in the middle of the country where the humidity is high. Regular maintenance in the bathroom could help. We had some insects in our room, which you should also expect coming to Ubud - it’s their natural habitat and you have to live with that. Property provided a plug to keep mosquitoes away and it was helpful!

Very calm and relaxing experience.

Even though we were in central Ubud it certainly didn’t feel like it when inside the property with all the greenery plantation blocking out the noise. Staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious.

The rooms were of a great standard, I was impressed! the staff were also very accommodating and friendly

the doors/windows to my room were in full view to any people walking past. so had to close curtains for privacy during the day and night as people can see into the room

An excellent affordable hotel with lovely service and facilities

Excellent accomodation for the price. Although only three stars, the room was nice and clean with a good sized bed and spacious enough to have luggage lying around and to watch telly on the sofa. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean, although it's quite busy! Location is good, approx 10-15min walk to town and in a nice quiet area.

The walk is not a nice one on busy roads with minimal footpaths, so wear something bright or bring a light if you're walking at night so the cars can see you! The pool gets very busy.

Nothing. The only tiny detail was that the sliding doors on the balcony didn’t align perfectly to close without locking with key. Opening in the morning made a bit of a noise as they were unlocked, which woke me when my partner went outside to the balcony. Very minor & an easy fix with a little attention. A la carte breakfast was decent but we found better options while exploring.

Large and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. Decent water pressure in the shower.

The property is extremely run down. Quality of towels is very poor. Multiple lizards were entering our room via the air con. Had to call staff each time. Would not return to this property based on this issue alone.

the staff is incredible, beautiful pool, and really nice compared to a lot of other places in the area. they took care of me when I had bali belly and were so nice and friendly. they also watched my bag for a week after I checked out. just really lovely people and atmosphere!

make sure you request a room with a separated shower, otherwise the shower won’t have any separation between the floor and your bathroom will be flooded. there are also some rooms on the third floor where the roosters are super loud. I moved to the first floor and never heard them there. the Wi-Fi is terrible, so don’t rely on that!

It's in the centre close to all the amenities. The staff is so helpful and polite. The Balenese culture is so nice and friendly in all aspects.

The cottage needs some refurbishment.

we loved the amazing breakfast! it was included in our price. the room was very nice and spacious with two double beds. all clean and fresh. nice size balcony and handy mosquitieres around the beds. they also had an offer for a free feet massage which was very nice. nice restaurant next to the hotel. there is also an option to hire a driver for day trips. the Main Street is only about 5 minutes walk.

the location is a bit off the Main Street so no pavements, the walk with the small kids did not feel safe but that might be the case for other properties around as well. it was about 5 mins walk to the bigger street with pavement. unfortunately our kids also had a problem in the swimming pool. they both got rashes after every swim which did not happen in other pools in different hotels we stayed in Bali. not sure if maybe there was too much chlorine? myself and my husband we were both fine.

Very friendly hotel

Staff very friendly and helpful! On arrival they even sang me happy birthday with a cake, so lovely! Location is walking distance to markets, monkey forest and restaurants. Clean spacious room over looking the pool and you can have a floating breakfast in the pool which is beautiful.

Everything. Staff were excellent. Room clean and spacious. Loved the night time ‘story’. Location is great for the tourist and not so touristy parts of Ubud. Warung next door is reasonably priced and great staff. Good breakfast with many options

Top marks Jati Cottage!

Jati Cottage is a fabulous place to stay in Ubud! We were delighted with every aspect of this accommodation. We had a spacious first floor room with a generous sized balcony overlooking the beautiful pool surtounded by lush garden greenery. The restaurant serves a delicious fresh breakfast with plenty of choice. The location is beautifully relaxing and quiet but only a few minutes walk from Yogabarn, and attractive streets with great restaurants, shops, cafés. The staff are incredibly friendly, it was always so welcoming to receive a cheerful hello each time we returned from our daily excursions and activities. It was hard to leave this home from home!

Loved everything. We extended our stay.
