The view from the room was excellent & the location suited our needs for visiting Dundas Castle
The shower cubicle was a little small, but satisfactory for our stay.

I loved the view out my window. When I first got there one of the pub guests were so welcoming. I just got there from the airport after a LONG flight. But all went smooth. Lots of stairs but I already expected those.
The TV did not work. Not sure if it was the batteries or the TV itself. I did not say anything I am sure they would have fixed I just used my Ipad. Being solo I needed some sort of noise in the room. I was only there from 8pm till the next morning check out 11am. Wish I had one more day loved the town.

Bus to town from Edinburgh easy and cheap
No real WiFi in room - but if you search you can find it - but not at the WiFi that they give you
Make sure you don’t lock yourself out - nobody to serve you from midnight until noon
