Ensuite shower room seemed pretty new and good. Breakfast good. Convenient location for Forest of Dean area, and close to Dean Forest heritage railway.
Traffic noise at night. Room a little cramped.

The stay was great. Parking might be a challenge given the building works next door, but we managed fine.

Nice clean spacious room with very comfortable bed and very good pillows. Generous tea and coffee supplies in room. Two comfortable chairs and practical clothes hanging rail with useful shelf above. Easy to use spacious shower, with toiletries and good hot pressure. Good hairdryer. Bedside table and all lights worked - side lights and overhead - so choice of lighting level. Free hotel parking at the rear. Really, really hospitable and lovely staff. Fabulous breakfast! We stayed 3 nights as a base visiting the area. Ideal.
TV remote was temperamental. Lovely Jo came and worked out the work around instructions, to get by for now, but essentially it will need a new one.
