The Hotel is centrally located in Coleford with access to many facilities/shops.
The room was small but adequate for one night stay.

This was a charming accommodation in the perfect location for our needs. With the bus stop right outside the door, transport could not have been more convenient. There were also a lot of food options very close by - restaurants and grocery stores. Staff was helpful and the included breakfast was a hearty and yummy start to our days. The building is old and the floors were uneven and wonky, but that was part of the charm and character. The shower was surprisingly large and while there were stains on the wall and some parts of the room, it was clean. If I found myself in Coleford again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
Noise can be an issue as our room faced on to a main road, but it really wasn't too much of an issue for us as the traffic picked up in the morning commute hours but not so much an issue overnight. The pub was not open very late on the nights we were there so noise related to that was not an issue during our stay. Could updates and a refresh be made to the accommodations? Absolutely. But that would not stop me from staying there.

Excellent service and very well run from front of house.
Excellent breakfast, again well run.
Mattress a little thin for my liking but comfortable enough.
Very large hotel/bar in need of some TLC.
No parking facility other than the public car park ( within walking distance, as long as you don't have much luggage etc ).
First hour is free then £4 for the rest of the day but Sunday is FOC.
The worst thing about our stay was the very very loud music that went on until 1.20am, then we had to contend with lots of youngsters continuing to laugh and mess around for over an hour after the pub had closed.
