Nice, updated place and nice “hosts”.
Updated, specious and well lit bathroom.
The a/c is very good (preset to 25).
Easy walk to the river and city center.
Breakfast very basic and it ends way too early at 9:00 AM (there was a note to ask for any special request but we didn’t try).
WiFi was intermittent.
there is some noise from the road (which in the most part dies down over night) and from the inside (like the family dog that barks as late as 11pm and as early as 6am). There is NO insulation to speak of and the door has wide gaps so noise depends on the curtsy of the other guests (and the dog :-). You hear snoring, talking and more…
dismal toiletries (a few little pouches of “body shampoo” and a hand soap pump). Better bring your our soap…
The shower was pretty weak and has only “shower head” (no “hand held”).
The a/c filter was very dirty and it had a bright blue light.
We had a “do not disturb sign” on the door AND we said “NO Grazie “ when the lady proprietor asked us if we would like her to refresh the room and yet, she entered our room while we were out. We didn’t appreciate it at all.
No elevator (that’s good for you!).
