Au top

Emplacement au top dans new Town, beaucoup de restau à proximité immédiate. Établissement propre, bien fréquenté. Studio très bien aménagé et bien équipé.

Il faisait bien trop chaud dans le studio!! Literie qui pourrait être un peu plus confortable mais cela dépend des goûts de chacun.

Hidden Gem of George St

Rooms are modern, hip, and spacious with ample facilities. Coffee shop is delightful, with the staff always smiling, friendly, and willing to help. The location is fabulous, short walks to all the hot spots in Edinburgh, and fantastic transport connections - i wish i could have stayed longer!

A discount or breakfast offer for hotel guests would have been an added bonus in the coffee shop - not necessarily a 'didn't like' but would have been a 'nice to have'

Amazing stay

It was a lovely, clean fresh, very relaxing hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were so friendly and the room itself was perfect, it had everything we needed and much more.

Great location, great apartment, great experience!

First and foremost, we loved the location on George Street, which is just a short walk to Princes Street. It was a lovely welcoming space (staff included!) and a great base for seeing the heart of Edinburgh. The studio apartment was very clean and cosy, and more than spacious enough for the two of us. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay: a large comfy bed, kitchen facilities, and a modern bathroom with a shower. The addition of a white noise machine by the bed was a great idea. The apartment itself was just perfect for our needs; it had an Airbnb meets boutique hotel vibe. And the onsite coffee lounge/bar was an added bonus. We very much enjoyed our two-night stay, loved the hotel's concept and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Eden Locke again.

Nothing really! But - and this is being picky because it didn't change how we felt about the experience - we had a room at the back of the building. So it may have been a little darker compared to the apartments at the front of the hotel. And it was a bit noisy in the mornings due to bottles being collected from nearby pubs. But the noise didn't last long and wasn't the hotel's fault.

Good overall but the noise of people laughing and shouting into the early hours needs to be address.

Crap

Location was good. Shower was nice.

I was put in the basement. I have quite bad claustrophobia and I felt that I was put in there because I was a single occupant. I was also incredibly frustrated that I asked for an early check in and I wasn’t able to do that and so I was sent away after travelling for 6rs into 30° heat and then when I returned it was a further 90 minutes late. I also asked for a late checkout and this was not done either.

Amazing! Wonderful!

Great hotel! Great location! Unobtrusive service. It was very cozy and comfortable. The room had everything, all the details are thought out, even the little things are taken into account. A surprise basket was waiting for our dogs, where there were treats and toys))) We with our dogs were delighted. We had an amazing time!

Super friendly staff, many thx Jeimy, Kirsty ... Tasteful rooms, lovely design furniture, crisp linen, great beds, well equipped kitchen, great shower. Clean. Lovely cafe downstairs! A very nice stay 😊

Would have loved a coffee machine instead of the speciality cocktail equipment, but there is this lovely cafe downstairs. In the studio apartment (109) no mirror close to a plug.

lovely hotel and central location !

lovely modern property, cafe in reception area. the room itself has everything needed including ironing board, iron and hairdryer. lovely kitchen area, bathroom and sitting room. small but perfect . staff were very pleasant and helpful both before online and during our stay. They kept our bags before and after check in / out securely.

Staff were great, location good walking distance for the castle. Lift to fourth floor a bonus

Poor room lighting, very small living/dining area, more like a one person not 2 person apartment. Only one person could be in kitchen/laundry area. No salt and pepper as shakers empty, dryer didn't work on wash machine, no wine glasses in apartment. Pricey for what it was but Edinburgh is expensive and we needed an apartment

Exceptional

The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and even added some special touches for our anniversary! The room was stylish and clean and had everything you could want! Great cafe downstairs, chromecast and super fast wifi.

We would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

The room was perfect for two people. It had all the amenities needed and the space was also very clean. The staff was great and friendly every day, always making you feel welcomed. it was also in a lovely location next to a couple great restaurants and bars.

Great location, great venue and staff were super friendly!

Limited help at reception in the evening / night, however as the venue is quite central, everything was within reach.

how the room had its own kitchen and washing machine, the quality of attention and service offered, temperature inside the room, location, my wife is crying and begs me to go back this instant

you can’t tip the stuff and we really wanted! apart from that, everything is perfect

Lovely, definitely coming back again!

Lovely stay, very clean and well designed studio flat (everything you need if you want to cook or put on some laundry). Comfortable bed, hot shower and great heating.

I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely go again, the only minor issue was that it was very dim in my room (not enough lighting). Otherwise, perfect!

Exceptional

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and super cosy, there was also a white noise box beside the bed which was such a nice touch. Location was also ideal, would 100% recommend to a friend.
