I love authentic hotels (not chains). This fit the bill. It is in excellent shape, the room was comfortable (but not spacious), and best of all, it faced an interior courtyard which meant it was complete isolated from street noise. However, I was the only guest there at the time. Had there been others, their noise would have gone right through their and my doors and windows, which are merely symbolic. So take that into account. Hot water was long in coming and hard to regulate. Bed as hard as a rock. Otherwise, it was a wonderful, restful stay.

This is a good, basic accommodation for a short stay in Quito. Location is convenient to many sites. The staff was helpful and friendly. Plenty of closet and drawer space, but comforts in room were sparse.
The bathroom was rustic. There were some cobwebs and dust in the closet spaces.

The staff were the best part of our stay. Wilson was friendly and helpful and very accommodating to our needs. He upgraded us to a room with a window to the outside and it made all the difference to our being able to stay. Andreas, a staff member on another shift, was also very friendly and always asking to be of assistance. The location is excellent to see all the attractions of Quito.

El lugar es hermoso y la ubicación inmejorable, pero me hackearon mis cuentas y se me perdió dinero, no tengo pruebas, pero fue la única estadía donde yo dejé mis documentos mientras salía.
El último día que pasé aquí, salí durante la mañana y después tuve problemas para abrir la puerta de mi habitación, no le di mayor importancia, en la tarde me hackearon las cuentas de mis bancos, al llegar a mi país (10 días) después, me di cuenta que además del hackeo me sacaron dinero de mi billetera (moneda local de mi país), iba a pagar mi estacionamiento del aeropuerto y no tenía el dinero en mi billetera, en ningún alojamiento dejé mis cosas encima solo en este hostal, ya que solo salía con efectivo por seguridad, no tengo pruebas, pero tampoco dudas, ahí entendí por que la chapa de mi puerta estaba con problemas.
Las instalaciones bien e insisto, no tengo pruebas, pero de mi estadía en Ecuador, que fueron 4 lugares, este es el único donde dejé mis documentos en la habitación
