Clean, owner was very friendly and lives on site, nice breeze comes through windows, quaint village a few minutes drive to a town with restaurants and bars and plazas.
Not a lot in the town itself, again more like a village.

The photographs don't do this place justice....it's a lot better than it looks. Spacious with a shared lounge area. Clean and comfortable. The lady who checked us in was a joy - very friendly and helpful
There was nothing negative about the place at all - I would thoroughly recommend it. The only downside is that it's a bit off the Camino route....it was a bit of a trek to get there. Though as we later discovered, we could have got a bus there !

The location is bad if you’re doing the Camino. You have to wait until 7:10 to catch the first bus into Markina to get back on the trail. There is no grocery store and only one restaurant for dinner that doesn’t open until 8 PM. Tough for a Camino schedule.
The WiFi is absolutely terrible.
