The hosts were excellent. A special thank you to Yuliia, Rodrigo, and Carolina for going above and beyond to help me set up trips and for your bottomless well of knowledge on what to see and where to eat on the island.
The room was a good size and the sea view was spectacular.
It's a 15- 20-minute walk from the city centre. If you don't like walking, you'll need a car, or you can just get a taxi. I didn't mind the walking, as there's a pleasant road that goes by the sea.

Location was great with available parking. Breakfast was beautiful with lot of choices. On top that hosts were incredible.

Comfortable but small ocean view room. Walking distance to downtown area without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Relaxing pool and hot tub. Delicious, fresh breakfast with highest quality yogurt, fruit, breads, Azorean cheeses and local preserves. Excellent coffee!! Very friendly, knowledgeable staff who are so helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations and travel tips. Obrigada Yuliia, Dina, and Rodrigo (spelling). Heated towel rack in bathroom. Praia de Santos is a gem and so much better and more reasonably priced than the Octant Ponta Delgada just a short walk away where we stayed before our flight out because this place was full. Octant “forgot” to bring our coffee and breakfast to the room at 6:30 as promised and never even apologized. Roof pool at Octant was cheesy as well.
Our room was a bit small, but it wasn’t a problem.
