Oké maar summier wat betreft eet mogelijkheden

It was very clean and a good use of space. The bathroom and shower was large and easy to use. The air conditioning worked very well, the best we have had recently. The bedding was very comfortable. We were here for only two nights but there was storage for a longer stay. The location was close to the bus, train station and the Verona arena. We stayed on a Saturday night and the street noise was minimal. We would stay again. Host very responsive and good recommendations!

Sehr sympathische Gastgeberin, die uns gute Tipps für Restaurants und Cafés, Sehenswürdigekiten und Spaziergänge geliefert hat. Tolle Lage, in der Nähe der Altstadt, aber nicht mitten im Touristen-Trubel; an einer ruhigen Strasse, in einem schönen Mehrfamilienhaus, gehobener Standard.

PRO 1. Very central location. CONs 1. The person which met us at the property didn't speak english at all (she was from South America), so she could not answer our basic questions at all, she also was in a rush. 2. It was two factores why we booked this property: central location and 2 beds. However as soon as we completed our booking the owner informed us that it was some kind of error and the property has been already booked but she has another property in this location that has one bed. She promised us to come up with a second bed so we didn't cancel our booking...it was our mistake... we should take this sign as a warning. The owner provided us with two beds, BUT: Both beds were not comfortable at all. The queen size bed had some sugging effects on both sides. The second bed that Astrid provided was a very small bed probably intended for a teenager. Thus my back and my 76 years old husband were not happy at all.... 3. At the end...even so we understand that it was not the owner responsibility, it is just a human favor. The weather forecast for the day we were leaving was 90% rain and we asked Astrid to book us a taxi. She provided us with a phone number and explained that she can't do this becasue "they take the phone number from which it is called". Unfortunately we don't speak italian and the taxi dispatcher didn't speak english, so our attemp was not successful and we both soaked to our bones on our way to the train station. Before Verona we stayed in Bologna and Rimini and in both cities the owners booked us a taxi and didn't have any problem to help us with this extra service. Same experience we had in Milan.
