The location is perfect for walking to all the main sights in Verona, the staff were very friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast was good.

Breakfast and location were very nice
Maybe more smiles from the lady at the desk, and a clearer explanation of how to use the card to open the gate to the other building (since the rooms are separate from the main entrance, which could be very confusing for guests). Also, I would note in the booking that a parking space is available only if one is available. After I booked and decided to stay at Marco Polo after learning that this small hotel has parking, I found out the parking was full, and I had to look around for a place to leave the car.

Room and communal area very clean. Breakfast was good. I would stay in the main hotel as it looked very nice and the air con worked.
The room was unbearably hot as air con not working properly. Room only bearable between 4 am and 10 am. Other guests also complained of the lack of air con. Could not use lift down from third floor. Had to go to second to request lift. Bathroom very small, no hook on bathroom door, door scraped on tiled floor when opening and closing and loo seat wonky.
