Staff , parking was close , walking into piazza was about 10 minutes with lots and restaurants. Breakfast was good .

Bathroom needs attention, poor flush on wc, water escapes from shower onto floor and shower is tiny

Great location for the train station & historic centre. Hotel felt safe behind the large wooden front door, secure at night, it is a beautifully appointed hotel in the old building which makes the most of its history.
Our room was spacious & there was a lovely & varied breakfast, breakfast staff very friendly & attentive. It was nice having breakfast in the courtyard each morning under the trees.
There was no safety deposit in the room which we were surprised at.
The beds were very hard & narrow.

Location is excellent - near the old city and walkable to Porto Nuova train station. The Secret Garden breakfast area was lovely and the breakfast foods were tasty.
Mattress and pillows not great in our room and a couple tiles in the bathroom floor were in disrepair - they stuck to your foot and lifted out if you walked bare foot.
