Even though there is a language barrier ,interactions with the English speaking staff were all nice . Lisa at reception was helpful too.
Limited water . One tiny water bottle per person for the full day is absurd. None of the hotels I’ve stayed in have ever put a limit on basic amenities like water. Cleanliness around the hotel could be better , lift always wet or sticky floors. Restaurant has a lot of scope for improvement.

The room (except carpet) & bathroom were very clean. Balcony was large and spotless as well. Nice linen and towels. Hotel staff were always pleasant and willing to engage. Great views from our room and the rooftop bar and pool.
Carpet in our room was grossly dirty. Nice balcony, but zero furniture to enjoy it.
We’ve been in Southeast Asia for four months and have not been to a hotel that doesn’t offer laundry by the kilogram. Their laundry service is by the piece and would have cost us around $75US paying for each individual piece of underwear and pair of socks, etc. When I asked the front desk about it, she did say they could send it out to someone to do it by the kilogram, but it was cold water only. Not very effective for clothes that have sunscreen on them. When I asked if there was a self laundry nearby, none of the staff knew what I was talking about. Researched on Facebook and found one 1/2 a mile away.
Beach is about one mile. Not a lot of interesting things for immediate walkability. Grabs were about $3US to get to any markets or shopping.
