The hotel has a lovely old style ambience. It is well located close to the Wellington cable car and a short walk to the harbour piers where all the fun is.
Very few restaurants close by. We landed in Wellington at 8 pm on a Saturday night and found it hard to get a meal.

Building was beautiful inside and out. Fittings and styling were out of an old Hollywood movie.
Booked room for 2 with breakfast included. Was told at breakfast that only one person wears paid for. This really made me annoyed and angry. Not sure if this issue relates to booking.com or Hilton but it sours my opinion of both!!
