Cozy flat, walking distance to everything

Cozy little nook close to all major attractions. Very good contact with the staff. Perfect for a couple (maybe with 1 child), but definitely not 4 people. The bed very comfortable, but I wouldn't wish sleeping on the pull-out sofa on anyone. We didn't even use it so much for sitting. It was really good to have a proper table with four chairs in the living space. There is no closet, just some hangers on the wall, but it was enough for us. The bathroom nice and clean. They offer irons, but no ironing boards, so the many extra towels came in handy when trying to iron on the table. The kitchen in general well equipped (plates, cups, pans, microwave, nespresso machine with plenty of capsules and a mokka). The heating in winter worked well (thermostat based), so I assume the air-conditioning does too. TV with Netflix and some international channels. It was hung a bit low for us in the passage - but I guess head injuries are the domain of tall people like us :)

There is a bar right next to the apartment, so if you're a light sleeper like me, don't forget your earplugs. The music was good though ;) The location is very good in some respects, you can walk anywhere within the city, but beware of climbing up the street (also choose the longer way by Gran Via if walking from Moyua). The neighbourhood made us a bit uneasy at first, but staying out of the upper part (San Frantzisko Kalea) as the host suggested did the trick. In the kitchen we would happily swap the washing machine for a dishwasher. A toaster, a sharper knife and some salt/pepper/olive oil would also be nice.

Overnight stay before starting the Camino from Bilbao. Arrived 7:30 and greeted on the doorstep. Everything was good

We had a great time and would stay there again if back in Bilbao

Great location, close to the river and the old town. Small balcony area where you could get the atmosphere from the nearby bars. Nice complimentary chocolates. Very helpful and friendly host who came straight away to sort out any issues.

Not much storage/space for luggage if away for longer but fine for the weekend. May be a bit warm in the summer months as no A/C

Lovely property with the potential to be exceptional. Two good rooms, nice bathroom and shower with additional separate toilet. Nicely presented though a bit ‘shabby’. Good size rooms, plenty of space for a family of 4. Acceptably clean with white linen and towels.

Location, whilst easy access to everything we wanted and needed, wasn’t Old Town as described. Apartment was on the ‘shabby’ side but has the potential to be exceptional. No natural light or views from any windows.

Confortable Apartment in the center of Bilbao

The apartment is very well located. it is nice and comfortable

UNFORTUNATELY THE COMMUNICATION with the hosts WAS VERY BAD. They can’t speak English so if you have any specific doubt they will not understand you. We asked three times about the parking lot and they didn’t give any directions. We had too pay more even if they have a price convention. We suggest the hosts to write all the necessary information on the booking apartment annunciation so PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND.

Beautiful little Bilbao studio stay

The apartment was very comfortable, situated very handy to the main (Bilbao-Abando) train station, and just a few hundred metres to best cafes & restaurants. As good as it was advertised.

the staff was great and really responsive and the design of the apartment is cute

the shower head fell off repeatedly and the main shower head didn’t work- it was really clunky and very loud, waking up por children when it fell off several times. i would strongly recommend you get this fixed!

We came in Bilbao in aheat wave. Outside temperature was arround 42C. Room don have a AC. Even they provide us 2 fans it didnt help at all. Booked for 5 nights . We left this hotel without refund 2 nights earlier. It was imposible to stay there. Refrigirator was dirty as hell and smels of mold in a bathroom. THE WORST CRIMINAL NEIBORHOOD IN CITY. BE AWARE.

Adequate for what we wanted it for .

location was central, hosts were helpful and gave good advice about parking.

Didn’t feel particularly safe walking around the street at night time . Not quite enough space or storage for 3 people but would have been fine for 2. Water wasn’t hot and the sofa bed was uncomfortable .

Good value property located near to the old town, perfect for short family stay in Bilbao

located close to old town, well maintained and clean, 2 comfortable bedrooms, spacious shower room

above a bar so a little noisy at night, kitchen facilities could be improved.

Leave your car somewhere else (if you need to park)

Close to the historical centre, and easy to reach.

Don't leave your car in the car park suggested. Better to pay more somewhere else. My car was robbed, and I found it with a window broken.

Great stay and location

Altough the staff did not speak English, which made communicating difficult, we had a great arrival. The ladies were very enthousiastic and tried the best they could to explain everything. Location is great, but we were told that the streets next to the apartment were a bit dangerous because of drugs and prostitution. We did not experience any fearful moments. The bathroom is nice and everything was clean. Bed was large and confortable.

Little negative points are that the lock of the bathroom did not work, and we missed some kitchen tools like a cutting board, bread knife, wine opener, kitchen towel etc. Also, the hallway is very noisy, any sound from the hall can be heard.

Good value, super close to the old town and the river. They add nice little touches that make it pleasant. I probably would only have 2 people stay there as it's not huge. Great base to explore from.

This is a place to have as a base, not too spend a lot of time hanging out in.
