It's a nice value option. Great pool. Great staff. Amazing location. 3rd stay here.

Amazing location. It is a nice inexpensive option. Beds are fine, but small if you are two and one is a bigger guy. Refridgerator in the room ,makes a little noise, but overall a good value.

The safe in the room beeps and te refridgerator makes noises as it cycles through it's "chilling".

Perfect!

Eva and Lisbeth were great! I didn't use the pool but there was nothing I did not like. I especially like the check in and check out culture of having a shot of tequila when you arrive and locking a padlock to their gates when you leave. Pretty room, lovely decor, nice bed and clean!

Beautiful hidden gem in the romantic zone.

The breakfast was hot coffee and rolls. The bread was amazing. The cinnamin rolls were made that morning and were better than perfect. It is very clean and the staff is excellent. Shout out to Gabriel and to Eva for their wonderful customer services and personality. Some of the rooms have been upgraded. It really is a great place in an amazing location.

I liked everything. I have stayed there three previous visits. It is really a nice place and has gotten better with all the improvements.

Good but has some negatives.

The property was spotless, location perfect, and staff fabulous. If you’re not noise sensitive or if your room is away from the pool it’s a great place.

I had booked two rooms and had repeatedly requested they were close and in a quiet location Unfortunately, neither request was honored. Our rooms were far apart, one on the ground floor and the other far on the third. The ground floor was very loud. You are basically at the pool with the bartender thumping house music all day even when people were trying to nap or the area empty. There was no taking a nice nap during the day. Also, the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors and the ground floor rooms hear everyone coming home all night.

A perfect reliable and quiet small boutique hotel. The best location!

This was my third time staying here at Casa Maria. I love the peace and quiet that is always found here. The staff remains the same friendly crew from previous trips.

I think water should be replenished daily in the room. Not just for arrival.

We tried the breakfast only twice, but the coffee was excellent. Good pastries too.

The option of something besides pastries would have been nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay

We stayed there a second time this year because we enjoyed it so much last year. The location is perfect. Very close to what's happening in the zona romantica yet quiet at night. The staff are wonderful. Excellent base for your stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Loved the staff, location, cleanliness!

The bedding was poor. The thin, low-end blanket was disappointing. Rough texture, not at all cozy.

Overall, I thought this was a great place to stay and I would happily come back!

Location was brilliant, the staff super friendly, especially Eva who served coffee and pastries each morning! The pool was nice and it was just a great place to chill out and read and relax. I loved the decoration and the colours. I was in a room which looked out onto the pool area.

WiFi was a bit patchy. It's fine for normal usage but if you needed to work remotely it might be a problem. Water pressure in the shower could have been a bit better, the walls are pretty thin between the rooms so if you have noisy neighbours it could be a bit annoying (which I didn't so it was fine!)

Top hotel, super centraal gelegen

Super gezellig en leuk hotel in Zona Romantica. Super leuke barvrouw, die elke middag langs het zwembad er een feestje van maakte. Hotel licht Super centraal maar is s avonds heel rustig.

De muren lijken wel van karton, je kon letterlijk de buren horen praten.

Casa María is in a great location and is a very clean and cute boutique hotel.

Casa María is gorgeous! Bright colours and artworks throughout the hotel. The room was a good size and the fridge and microwave are a great feature. The coffee and pastry for breakfast is a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and we loved that there was a bar. The pool area is very nice and clean.

We had a good view from level 2. The lower levels may not have as good a view but we were happy!

Try any other hotel around the area

The bartender and manager were nice. Early check in was appreciated.

The owner and reception manager were extremely rude. I paid for a 2 people bedroom and when I invited another person to the hotel they made him show their official ID and sign a contract (which ok I could understand for security reasons). But they asked for a 51 USD fee. No other hotel in the area asks for a fee. The owner stood at the door of the room to make sure this person doesn't enter MY room. On top of this, the door to the room is a sliding reflective glass door so basically everyone can see inside the door if you don't close the curtains. So no privacy.

The only thing that was weird was requesting 4000 pesos to give cash upon arrival (or 200 USD) as security deposit. Too muh cash to assure upon arrival together with the overall payment of the accomodation. USD accepted, but Euro (even if 200EUR are more value than 200USD) not accepted.
